The History of Gold Bars
The price of Gold bars represents the value humans place on the unique qualities of Gold, which has been viewed as significant ever since it was first discovered. Gold bars are made of one of the most valuable of the Seven Metals of Antiquity: Gold, Silver, Copper, Tin, Lead, Iron and Mercury. Gold bullion for sale today draws its value from the rarity of Gold combined with its beauty prized for decorations and its unique chemical properties, including malleability, ductility and resistance to corrosion. When you buy Gold bars, you are claiming a share of a limited commodity that has held value in nearly every human culture.
Pioneer Metals
The United States was established by hard-working and determined pioneers. The U.S. developed westward along with the settlers' journey to establish their futures and create wealth for themselves, tapping into the possibility of natural resources on the frontier. Individuals seeking their fortunes built a nation from the ground up. Pioneer Metals shares the same name and spirit of entrepreneurship the pioneers had.
Made in the U.S.A., Pioneer Metals was created for those looking for a no-nonsense way to invest in Silver and Gold. The low premiums and unique designs make these cast-poured bars the easy choice for those looking to acquire Precious Metals without the fuss of choosing between hundreds of bullion coins. The Pioneer Metals brand is available exclusively at APMEX in a variety of sizes, perfect for any budget.

It's a small bar, but it's heavy. It has minor marks. However, I wouldn't expect cast poured bars to be perfect in appearance and smoothness. I'm happy with it.
