1/4 oz Gold American Eagle PCGS MS-70 First Day of Issue
The United States Mint introduced new reverse models for the 2021 American Eagle Gold coins and the changed design is proceeding into 2023. Mint AIP designer Jennie Norris created the new Gold coin artwork highlighting the American eagle, which was then sculpted by Mint Medallic Artist Renata Gordon. The obverse has also been revised with alternative details from the first design by Augustus Saint-Gaudens to complement this classic image.

PCGS + First Day of Issue Gold Eagles
PCGS adds collectible appeal as an independent third-party grading service that certifies the condition of each coin and encapsulates it in a protective holder. If a coin is verified to have arrived from the mint on the first day of initial release, it may be labeled First Day of Issue by PCGS. A PCGS label is your guarantee that the coin you're buying has been graded by a professional. Discerning collectors can trust that when they purchase coins with a PCGS certification, they will receive coins in the greatest possible condition that are among the first released, which is especially desirable given the 2023 Gold American Eagle's release.
