1/10 oz American Gold Eagle Coins
Congress began the American Gold Eagle program in 1986, and it grew to be an international sensation. These coins are the first investment coins officially supported by the U.S. government.
A record of strength and independence is displayed in the designs. On the front side of the coin, Lady Liberty steps fearlessly into the unknown holding a torch and olive branch. On the reverse is a beautifully made likeness of the bald eagle, America’s symbol of freedom. Every 1/10 oz Gold American Eagle contains .9167 fine gold.
These coins are not obtainable for purchase directly from the United States Mint. Instead, they are marketed by using an established system of authorized purchasers, such as APMEX.

I was told a 1/10 oz gold coin wasn’t worth buying and I needed to buy bigger. This was not good advice! APMEX ships fast! The coin arrived secure and packed extremely well! Yes.. The actual size of the coin is similar to a dime. This may leave you wondering if the right choice was made. The coin size may seem inadequate, but it does not matter when it’s being stored next to other pieces of Au. It is a stunning GOLD piece and my recommendation is to buy what you can afford.. hold and stack!
