This series of minted bullion bars from PAMP tells the legendary stories related to the 12 animals of the Chinese lunar calendar. The Azure Dragon is the first in this series and is the guardian of the east. It is said the dragon is a harbinger of the coming spring season, and controls the rain.
Throughout the day, a two-hour window of potency is allotted to each animal, and the dragon is at its most powerful between the hours of 7 a.m. and 9 a.m., and its zenith is marked with Chinese characters that translate as 8 a.m.

another excellent job of Pamp, beautifully designed and carefully made. highly collectible. Im glad to have a 2012 year of dragon as well. it’s more about the actual product and rest is packing etc and every single item I purchased so far was flawless, condition and design exactly as advertised and this item is a must have( to collect or invest its a win win. one question though I can’t figure out a good reason! if they become second hand and lose more of its value then why some of my orders ( gold bars ) are already pealing? package them better? or put them in second hand list if they are used etc. put few small issues aside, Apmex is always the place to buy precious metal, they CAN be trusted 100%, real good etc, high quality, fast shipping and good packaging not to mention a good customer service specially if you want to sell something back or exchange they truly do everything they can/permited to keep you happy.
