2023 1/4 oz NGC MS-70 Gold Eagle Coins
The Gold American Eagle line has become among the most popular bullion coins since its launch in 1986. These coins were the first gold bullion coins supported by the United States government and created a new feeling of security for gold investors. The obverse is modeled after Saint-Gaudens' design for the $20 Double Eagle in 1907 and is still implemented today.
The United States Mint presented new reverse styles for the 2021 American Eagle Gold coins and the updated design has been used ever since. Mint AIP designer Jennie Norris created the new gold coin artwork highlighting the American Eagle, which was then sculpted by Mint Medallic Artist Renata Gordon. The obverse has also been modified with additional details from the unique design by Augustus Saint-Gaudens to boost this established image.
NGC Coin Certification
NGC is a highly respected coin grading company that has been certifying coins for over 30 years. The experts at NGC study each coin that is submitted to them and give it a grade based on its condition. This then helps establish the market value of the coin. Certified coins are often more collectible than uncertified ones, and their condition will be preserved in an NGC holder.
