I don't buy bullion for its attractiveness, nor for the lack thereof. I got the luck of the draw in the platinum round that APMEX sent me. (I received a 1985 Isle of Man/Popjoy noble.) That said, it could have been an ugly button of metal and I wouldn't have cared in that I only care about the metal content itself. (I'm no collector of collectibles, and couldn't care less about numismatics.) I just like buying metal for metal's sake as close to spot as possible and -- in this regard -- the round I bought fit the bill to a T. I live right here in Oklahoma City, love dealing with APMEX for other reasons, and (this doesn't hurt, believe me) believe in supporting locally owned and locally headquartered businesses as often as I can. Great buy -- I hope they get more in stock soon.
