Para-Athletics
Para-athletics was one of the first sports to be included in the program of the Paralympic Games in Rome in 1960, which at the time comprised eight disciplines. There are now a wide variety of track events (apart from obstacle courses and walking events), jumping events (apart from the pole vault), throwing events (apart from them hammer throw) and, of course, the flagship event of the marathon (since 1984) on the road.
