About Catman
Peter Criss was the original Catman and one of the founding members of KISS. He joined the band in 1973 and was a key member during their early years and peak popularity in the 1970s. Later, Eric Singer took over the Catman persona in 2001 after Peter Criss's departure. Singer had previously played with KISS during the early 1990s and rejoined the band to maintain the continuity of the Catman character.
