The city is located in Cochise County in southeastern Arizona, USA. The site was ironically named by Ed Schieffelin, who discovered silver there in 1877 after being told that all he would find would be his tombstone. It became the last frontier boomtown of the old Wild West, bringing in almost 14,000 people in a few years. This led to many saloons, casinos, and lawlessness including the famous Doc Holliday and Wyatt Earp in the gunfight at the O.K. Corral.
