Dolphin Series
The dolphin is a beloved animal depicted in many cultures, and is also native to Australian waters. Royal Australian Mint and APMEX partnered to release the Dolphin series in both gold and silver. In various cultures, the dolphin symbolizes happiness, power and protection. Hourglass dolphins are a relatively small species of dolphins and are found in Arctic waters, as they prefer colder water and spend most time closer to the surface. The hourglass dolphin is colored black on top and white on the belly, with white patches on the sides. They are often found in smaller groups of 10-15 dolphins and can be seen bow-riding waves from ships and baleen whales.
Royal Australian Mint
The Royal Australian Mint is known for minting superb quality gold and silver coins with limited mintages. Their popular domed proof coin series have quickly sold out at the mint, increasing the collectibility of the series. This Gold and Silver Dolphin Brilliant Uncirculated series brings the same approach the mint has on their proof coins to the Dolphin bullion series.

I got two of these. it's a beautiful round and this is probably not Apmex fault but one of the two has a significant scratch right under the nose of King Charles. it's supposed to be BU but this scratch is an eyesore to say the least. Considering the premium I paid on this round I'm not pleased with this. The 2nd round is flawless.
- Pros
- Attractive Design
- Collectible (lower mintage)
- Cons
- Poor Condition
- Bottom Line
- Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.
