American Silver Eagles Series
The American Silver Eagle series is the United States' official silver bullion coin program. Since its debut in 1986, the series has been celebrated for its iconic designs and reliable silver content, making it a favorite among collectors and investors alike. It is a result of the Liberty Coin Act, which was passed by Congress in 1985.
2025 American Silver Eagle Design
Continuing the legacy, the 2025 Silver Eagle features Adolph A. Weinman’s classic depiction of Lady Liberty on the obverse, a design that has been a hallmark of the series. This design showcases Lady Liberty walking while draped in the American flag while the sun rises. Weinman’s Walking Liberty was first introduced on the Walking Liberty Half Dollar in 1916 and has donned the American Silver Eagle since its inception. The reverse features Emily Damstra's modern design of an eagle in flight, a symbol of strength and freedom. This design was first introduced in 2021, replacing the original design of a heraldic eagle and shield.
