Houston Astros
The Houston Astros are a Major League Baseball (MLB) team based in Houston, Texas, known for their rapid rise to prominence and recent success. Founded in 1962 as the Houston Colt .45s, they rebranded as the Astros in 1965 to reflect the city’s connection to space exploration, coinciding with their move to the iconic Astrodome, the world’s first domed stadium.
