Engelhard Bullion
Engelhard Corporation, founded in the early 20th century, became a legendary name in the precious metals industry, renowned for its innovation, precision manufacturing, and unrelenting commitment to quality. For decades, Engelhard was considered one of the most trusted producers of silver and gold bullion products in the world, supplying not only industrial and commercial markets but also satisfying the high expectations of investors and collectors alike. Engelhard’s precious metals bars and rounds are particularly celebrated for their purity, refined craftsmanship, and striking design. Among the most iconic visual elements of classic Engelhard pieces is the image of the rugged prospector—an enduring symbol of determination, frontier spirit, and the company’s deep roots in the mining tradition. Vintage Engelhard silver and gold products—especially those minted in the 1970s and 1980s—have achieved near-mythic status among bullion enthusiasts. Known for their low serial numbers, hand-poured textures, and sturdy industrial aesthetic, original Engelhard bars are highly coveted in both private and institutional collections.
In an exciting development for investors and collectors, Manfra Tordella & Brookes Inc. has formed an exclusive partnership to revive Engelhard’s iconic precious metals products, bringing them back to market in a modern form while preserving the historic standards of quality and integrity. This new era of Engelhard bullion maintains the same hallmarks that made the brand famous: .999+ fine purity in both silver and gold, bold, clean design reflecting the classic Engelhard aesthetic, individually serialized bars echoing the authenticity of the originals, and premium packaging suited for today's discerning investors. The modern Engelhard offerings—available in a variety of formats from Prospector rounds in gold and silver to 3 oz cast silver bars—are not reproductions, but true spiritual successors, crafted with state-of-the-art technology under the strictest quality controls.
By bridging history and innovation, Manfra Tordella & Brookes Inc. has ensured that the Engelhard name continues to represent excellence in bullion. These revived products are not just investment vehicles—they are a tribute to the legacy of one of the most influential names in precious metals history. For those seeking bullion that combines rich heritage with modern assurance, Engelhard's reborn bars and rounds offer an unparalleled proposition: classic design, timeless value, and elite quality—reborn for a new generation.
