History of Chinese Lunar Animals
Immerse yourself in the rich tapestry of Chinese lunar traditions with our Lunar Year of the Horse 1 oz silver bar. Rooted in ancient lore, the Chinese zodiac assigns each year to one of 12 animals, each carrying its unique symbolism. The horse, a central figure in this celestial cycle, embodies stamina and strength. In legend, the order of the animals was said to be based upon the order in which each finished in a race across a river. The horse was beaten by the sneaky snake that hitched a ride on his hoof to make sixth place, but the horse came in seventh.
The Horse
In the Chinese Lunar Calendar, the Horse is the 7th animal and it symbolizes vitality, freedom, and forward momentum, embodying qualities of ambition, intelligence, and sociability. Closely tied to the element of Fire, the Horse reflects passion, dynamism, and an eagerness for change, while its association with summer and the sun represents warmth, clarity, and optimism. Historically a partner in travel and progress, the Horse also signifies loyalty, endurance, and the balance between independence and responsibility. Altogether, it stands as a timeless emblem of strength, resilience, and the drive to pursue success with courage and energy.

So far my brother an I are pretty satisfied with APMEX. Only issue I have is when they send silver FEDEX and you have to sign. No one is home, we all work. With USPS you can go to the post Office and pick it up. They are a little slow on delivery but we always receive what we purchased in perfect condition.
- Pros
- Mint Condition
- Recognized Brand
- Bottom Line
- Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.
