Burnished Silver Eagle Series
First issued in 2006, the Burnished Silver Eagle serves as a counterpart to the Proof Silver Eagle, providing an alternative for the interested collector. Much like the Proof Silver Eagle Series, these coins are manufactured in much lower mintages compared to the standard Silver Eagle. Minted at the West Point mint location, and carrying the 'W' mint mark, this series received the 2021 design update and have carried forward with enhanced counterfeit prevention visible on the reeding of the coin.
This Silver Eagle features a special burnished finish, which makes the features of this new design even more attractive. These burnished coins typically have an exceptionally low mintage, adding to their collectible value.
