Pressburg Mint, also named Bratislavska Mincovna, is based in Bratislava, Slovakia and revives the centuries-old minting tradition of the country. The mint strives to produce bullion and prooflike products of the highest quality and is known for its ever-evolving yearly releases, namely the Terra, Vivat, Chronos and ICON programs.
The Vivat Humanitas series celebrates achievements of human kind, and this release contemplates the achievements of medicine and the age old Hoppocratic oath.
Coin Highlights:
- Contains 1 oz of .9999 fine gold.
- Limited mintage of 300.
- Coins will be delivered in gift box with certificate of authenticity.
- Obverse: Displays a design of the Caduceus staff running vertically through the center. It's topped with wings and a skull. Just beneath the wings sits and Eye of Providence, or "All-Seeing Eye", radiating light and enclosed in a triangle. Behind the naim motifs is a large geometric star. Silver weight and purity are at the bottom in a ribbon.
- Reverse: Features a striking engraving of Hippocrates, ofter referred to as the "Father of Medicine". To the right of the portrait is the Public Seal of Niue. There is also a Latin phrase, "Primum Non Nocere - Hippocrates" meaning "First, Do no harm". The denomination and year are along the bottom.
