Being able to get U.S Gold Proofs for a small premium over BU condition is most attractive! I only wish I had bought more before they sold out. With the exception of only a few of the coins I received, they appeared to be in the original U.S. Mint plastic capsules and totally unmolested.

Was very happy to be able to purchase this 1oz Proof 2007 Eagle with the lower premium as I had been waiting for it to come back in stock and when it did I jumped at the opportunity. Their customer service team is unrivaled and APMEX is the best in the business - Hands down. Will continue to spend my money here and use their portfolio tool that in itself is a great product. No one else does it like APMEX. This coin is very heavy and the mirror finish is perfect. would probably grade a PF69 or even PF70.

Got a 2007 and she looks great. Her bust has a little bit of a shiny spot where the coin has some wear, so definitely not a PR70 condition. But still beautiful and definitely has that beautiful proof finish. Given that this actually had a lower premium than a BU eagle, I am thrilled.

Just got my order today 5 coins (3) 2000 (1) 1986 (1) 1987 Had to look 3 times to verify, very small roman numerals. For a random buy blown away!!! Nice deal Apmex.

Usually I don't buy proofs. Since I always want to have a gold eagle, bought one with 40$ premium. I got a 1990 and more than happy. There is a minimal mark on Liberty's knee but if I can live with that, it's a great purchase.
