NGC MS-69 Certified 2023 1/10 oz Gold Eagle
First permitted by Congress for issue in 1986, the Gold American Eagles were the earliest gold bullion coins backed by the United States government. The new American Gold Eagle designs appeared on coins in mid-2021 and are intended to be the new standard going forward. Jennie Norris, a designer with the Mint Artistic Infusion Program, produced the well-known artwork for the gold coin depicting a close-up portrait of America's national bird - the American bald eagle. The obverse has been altered with additional details from Augustus Saint-Gaudens' original 1907 design.
