The "average circulated" Napoleon I looks above average circulated. Very nice luster and detail. Unless one looks very closely, there's hardly any flaws. Beautiful coin.
- Pros
- Attractive Design
- Collectible (lower mintage)
- Recognized Brand
- Bottom Line
- Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.

I received an 1811 dated Napoleon that appears to be on par with the example pictured. Very pleased with this 200+ year old gold coin.

- Easy to Sell
- Bottom Line
- Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.

I ordered four of these and all of them, though obviously circulated, were nice coins with good eye appeal. There was nice and even, but moderate wear on each one. Dates ranged from 1808-1813. It's great to have such good looking examples of historical coins in such good condition.
- Pros
- Attractive Design
- Collectible (lower mintage)
- Easy to Sell
- Recognized Brand
- Bottom Line
- Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.

I've been an APMEX customer since 2008, and this is the first coin I've ever been disappointed with. The description says average circulation, but the coin I received had some damage around the edge.
- Pros
- Value (low premium over spot)
- Attractive Design
- Cons
- Poor Condition
- Bottom Line
- No, I would not recommend this to a friend

I have many French, Swiss and Belgian 20 franc coins. I was not sure if the premium was worth the cost of the Napoleon I. It was. It is a gorgeous piece of gold. And thinking of the history of this coin only enhances its beauty. Very glad I made this purchase.
- Pros
- Attractive Design
- Collectible (lower mintage)
- Bottom Line
- Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.

My glowing praise for this coin and transaction, as written yesterday, is still strongly felt; undiminished, by my sloppy arithmetic....the coin, minted in 1812, is 205 yrs. old, not 2015! My apologies!

- Attractive Design
- Collectible (lower mintage)
