I had ordered some 'Year of the ______' bars and wanted to add some 1/2 oz Bars as well, so I got these due to low price over spot. When I received them they had sent matching themed bars to the 1oz ones I had purches, and they were in great condition. I am thrilled with the quality APMEX continues to provide to me!

I added a secondary market silver bar to get the free shipping and received a 2012 Year of the Dragon bar intricly illustrated on a proof background. On the back, four qualities of a Dragon described in detailed text. And in it's sealed mint plastic. The description warned of worn scruffy bars. Wow!

My first order of secondary market was wonderful, lovely year of the horse. My second is ok, but not thrilling. Bars are really nice Northwest Territory 1/2 oz in excellent condition....just not exciting.

I purchased these bars for investment in silver only. Bars were packed in a folding plastic container and appeared to be in good condition; it is difficult to tell if the wearing is on the plastic, which is what i think, or the bar. I will not open them until I am ready to resell so there will be little or no damage to the bar. Would have given a five star rating but all bars were the same.
