Received a nice Engelhard 5 oz bar. The price was fair. Ordering was easy and painless. Yes, I would recommend this to a friend. Interestingly the bar I got was well polished. But, This type of Engelhard bar is difficult to find so I'm happy to have one.

This example of the 5 oz bar from Engelhard is outstanding and now my personal favorite. The look and feel of these bars are second to none. The bars I received were in great condition. They do have signs of wear, which is to be expected due to their age, but I have new bars that do not look as good. It's also nice to know your holding a piece of history in your hands. These were also a lower mintage bar from Engelhard with around 12000 produced.

This is a cool little bar! The weight feels great in your hand and it is such a neat piece of history! I am buying as much old Engelhard bars as possible. Paying by check is a little slow, but once APMEX shipped it, I recived it within two days. Highly recomend both Engelhard and APMEX!
