This small Silver coin was issued during the reign of Alfonso XIII, King of Spain. ASW= .0362 of an ounce. It was one of the last coins struck by Spain for Puerto Rico before the former ceded its island colony to the United States as part of the peace treaty ending the Spanish-American War in 1898.
