This coin is special in that it is attractive to the eye, hefty in mass, a great value and is produced at Australia's Perth mint. I like it and it is a real winner. Buy a copy. You will like the coin.

Clean, well designed, and very collectable Kookaburra 10 ounce silver bullion coin. The attractive pose of the "Kookie" is great in detail. Overall, super coin for investment and any Aussie silver coin collection.

I've been eyeing the 2011 10oz and kilo size kooks for some time now. I finally popped for the 10oz kook and the 10oz APMEX round. Both are very nice! The APMEX is a thinner round but bigger in diameter than the kook. The kook is a beautiful coin and a great addition to any collection. But for me if I am going to buy another 10oz round I would probably go with the APMEX and avoid the premium on the kook. Happy Stacking!

Someone else mentioned I believe on the 2010 10 oz. Kookaburra coins being a better choice to 10 oz. bars. This is an understatement and its no wonder these are usually out of stock despite APMEX having some of the best availability in the country. These are keepers. I'm liking the premium over spot on the 2010s and look forward to something similar on the 2011's next year! Kooks in general always seem to carry a nice premium.
