These bars are quite attractive. Have purchased these before. One particular bar has some "burnishing" to it which, in my opinion makes the bar even more attractive. Usually keep an eye open for the "Eagle" brand despite being the newest look of Engelhard bars.

The detail on the Engelhard eagle is crisp, artistic and well defined, it is clearly reminiscent of all the US bullion and coinage eagles. My ten oz Engelhard bar has no abrasions or dings, there is modest oxidation on perhaps ten percent of the surface, and one black spot, less than a quarter inch dia, on the reverse. So it has seen some circulation, but it is a VERY NICE BAR, mine is going up on the shelf to be a conversation piece for those with sharp enough eye to spot what is sitting up thee on the shelf! Definitely hope to acquire more, wish mark-up over spot was smaller.
