This is a great large coin! I just got mine today and it's definitely a sizable coin. The design is also really nice looking. Also, if you think about it, the premium on these (at least through the IRS sale I bought this from) is less than the premium on buying 10 silver eagles last I checked. This is a good way to buy larger amounts of silver for sure, as kooks tend to appreciate in value more so than more common 1 oz coins. Plus, it's a 10 ounce coin. Who wouldn't want one of those in their collection?

I usually buy nothing but 1 ounce Silver Maple leafs. About a month ago I decided to buy the 2015 10 oz Kook because APMEX shot me an email with a very good offerx.I'm now on my 4th one. The mint dates aren't important to me. I am just accumulating as many ounces of silver as I can as quickly as I can. I wish the Candian Mint would issue a 10 ounce Maple Leaf!!!!!! What a bueatiful coin it would be!

I love the 10 oz Kooks and Koalas. Stunning detail from the Perth Mint as always. Would much rather look at these than a 10 oz silver bar. Also the numismatic value goes up every year.
