I bought this coin because I wanted a 1 ounce coin that was a little different than the common gold coins. I really think the design is very attractive and enjoy the purchase. Having the anniversary design is very cool.

For my money, the australian gold kangaroo is my favored bullion gold coin. I like the changing design year-to-year and the fact they encapsulate each in plastic at the mint for safe-keeping. I like the fact the premiums over spot gold run lower than for gold eagles. This 25th anniversary coin adds a potential numismatic element with its limited mintage. I own 2 and wish I'd bought more.

beautiful.and IRA approved. my take as a simple person is that IRA approved means it is high gold content, so that's how i set the standard. I stand corrected. It is the one of the most beautiful kangaroo picture in full flight , some kangaroos are not pretty. i cannot say of anything i don't like about this product . It was well packed and arrived as promised.

I bought this product mainly because I own various pieces of gold but not a kangaroo. Another reason is the lower mintage of the item. I will have to say that I'm please with I purchased. I also love how the coin comes in a protective case. I'm looking forward to buying another before the sell out completely.

Shipping was quick but man I almost should have went to pay for check instead of credit but its all good, by credit it arrives much quicker and saves time in post office line and gas. The coin is really nice, has that nice yellow gold color. Once I recieved the coin I removed from that cheap capsule because I did not like the coin moving and making all these rattle sounds inside and so instead I put in the higher quality Air-Tite Holder w/ Black Gasket - 32mm, I'm happy that I did. This is my first 24K gold coin, and I am very happy I have a 25th anniversery Perth mint original artwork gold coin, but from now finally owning and seeing 24K I think I am just going to stick to just plain, durable, and reliable 22K Gold Eagles.
