The Geiger 100 ounce bar is a very attractive large silver bar. The Reeded edge all the way around the bar coupled with the crystal clear stamping of the manufacturer, weight and silver fineness made this a very desirable purchase for me. This is the heaviest silver I have acquired in 3 years of collecting silver and to hold this bar is an experience in itself. I will buy again.

Anyway I bought this bar. AMAZING! It is a beautiful bar that is absolutely worth the few extra bucks they ask. The only thing they don't mention is the security code is just a small sticker on the outside of the bar. The bar is shrink wrapped. I dont understand why they would make such a work of art and not put the extra time to engrave the bar number in it. Doesn't matter...compared to other bars I have I am now spoiled and will never buy anything else unless they charge a ridiculous premium over spot. Right now if you can afford it, buy one. I definitely plan to save and buy another before Silver shoots up again. And Silver will be much higher in the next few years. But amazing bar, highly recommend.

This Geiger bar is one of the best bars I've ever purchased since I started collecting everything about the bar is awesome great design texture color and security features I love it hands down it far exceeded all my expectations wow and the weight if you never held a 100 oz bar this one is a Beast simply magical. Wow... That's the word that best describes this 100 oz bar. It's as beautiful as all other Geiger's products. Also, I couldn't be more pleased with the APMEX customer service. I was amazed at how quickly they processed my order. They've earned a customer for life!

I was attracted to this bar originally because of the unusual security features and the long, rich history of the mint... i think going back well over 100 years. While it's not as shiny as other silver bars, I still find the overall appearance quite compelling. On the negative side, the identification number is only a label... it's not imprinted into the bar itself. And the premium is also too high (for me) to justify a large expenditure, especially given the competition. But the bars are just plain cool... and despite the premium I recommend everybody take one out for a spin.

This is a beautiful bar and it actually feels heavier than my other brands of the same size. I am collecting these when I can afford them. APMEX is a class run organization and staff is first rate.

In my opinion this is the best 100 oz. silver bar available. My 2nd choice would be the RCM. If you want some eye candy and don't mind paying a little extra $$ this is the bar for you.
