The Goat is my favorite Pert Lunar piece of all. I purchased 40 of these one year ago and the price has increased $15-20 for each 1 oz coin. My only complaint is that I should have purchased more at the time - $20.99. These are even worth more than the 2014 Year of the Horse. This is also true for Lunar gold. I suppose many people are like me about the design of the 2015 Goat and think they're one of the most eye appealing designs from Perth Mint Lunar Series in the past recent years. I just purchased one more at $40 because of my preference liking for this 2015 Perth Goat. We will see if the 2016 Monkey does as well. In my opinion, I don't think so, but just in case - I purchased a few because I do feel the Austrialian Perth Mint Lunar Series is one of the most collectible Soverign coins for any investor or collector (in both Gold and Silver) to gain popularity when obtained within a few months after each release. The Perth Lunar Series has done better in retaining, even gaining numismatic value in recent years when compared to Chinese Pandas, American Eagles, and Ausie Kooks.
- Pros
- Attractive Design
- Collectible (lower mintage)
- Easy to Sell
- Mint Condition
- Recognized Brand
- Bottom Line
- Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.

I don't mind paying more for these coins but if I am going to pay a premium I expect premium coins. I was shocked to find that out of the original 10 1 ounce goats I ordered 3 were in bad condition. I ordered enough to get them mint sealed half-roll but instead they came in little apmex baggies. I am out cost of shipping to return but get this, they sent me replacements, ONE of those was bad. Under the Year of the Goat looks like it was run over by a car tire. I'm just giving up on apmex for now. If customer service wants to contact me to make this right I am open for communication. Sincerely -Vip member

This coin is a work of art! I can't decide if the Kookaburra is more beautiful, or if this Lunar series I is better. Either way, they are increasing in value, as silver decreases. I only have two items from the Perth mint, but thst shall change this week. The prices are always on the rfse, and they display like artwork!
