With new ownership and a fresh start, the Seattle SuperSonics made their way to Oklahoma City in 2008. I purchased this coin as a gift for a family member who is a huge Thunder fan. The first coin I received was in terrible condition, because the plastic capsule was open inside the box and the coin and capsule had been shaking around, scraping against each other during shipment. I exchanged the coin and the second coin I received was also scratched, even though the plastic capsule was intact (though not in giftable condition). I'm beginning to suspect that APMEX isn't checking the items it buys back. It's that or they just plain expect customers to continue paying high premiums for coins that are not in the condition described on their website.
