I chose these (over those of the mirror-like) because of the matte finish: that appeals to me. They're inconspicuous and won't leave fingerprints. Their obverse is actually a very nice satin finish; and their plastic cases are sealed air and water tight. One (of nine) of mine did have a split case, but was a perfect excuse to open one and the only con is their reverse's corners are of a 'rougher' grind.

The matte finish is somewhat "splotchy" and unfortunately an overall unattractive bar. I don't mind all that much because it's Valcambi and the price was fair, however, it's certainly not a bar you'd care to admire.
