Just as everybody has said, it has a small footprint and is easily divisible. The packaging is very nice and even though it's sealed in plastic it's easy to enjoy it visually. I don't expect a financial collapse, so really it's just a collectable with some "curb appeal" for me.

absolutely beautiful, love the fractional ideas . can sell fractions in a pinch instead of a whole 1OZ and if ever need to barter what better way . highly recommended and it’s pretty flat so doesn’t take much room at all

This bar is by far my favorite 100 gram gold bar. It looks massive compared to other bars since it is thin, giving it a very impressive appearance. Not only is it eye-catching, but it's also extremely practical. If our monetary system collapses and the dollar has lost it's value, one can break this bar apart into 100 equal sections so it can be used to make mid to large purchases. You could fill up two car's gas tanks with a single gram! Alright, that might be a bit extreme, but if you need money for hard times, but don't want to sell your entire gold investment, you could break this apart and just sell what you need to get by. Also, it is the size of two credit cards so you could snap this baby in half and put them into your wallet!

Of all types of gold you could buy, I would say this is probably the best you can buy off the market. My reasoning is simple, you can buy 100 grams worth of gold, which is a good amount, without tacking too much space, and most importantly, you can break it off into individual 1 gram pieces, should you ever want to trade with gold. This is absolutely importantly, because if you did buy an 100 gram singular gold bar, it would pretty much be useless in the event of a financial collapse of fiat currency. This combibar and the way its packaged is also more subtle than carrying around large gold ingots, so I've actually been able to carry it overseas without any problems whatsoever, and can even fit it in my front or back pocket.
