The quaint town of Bisbee, located 90 miles southeast of Tucson, Arizona and tucked away among the Mule Mountains, was founded as a Copper, Gold and Silver mining town in 1880 and was named in recognition of Judge DeWitt Bisbee, a financial backer of the Copper Queen Mine.

Once referred to as "the Queen of Copper Camps," mining proved to be very successful in the early 20th century, producing nearly three million ounces of Gold, along with Copper, Silver, Lead and Zinc.

By 1910, its population boomed to over 9,000 residents and was the largest community between St. Louis and San Francisco. Today, this success continues with the production of these 5 oz Silver Bisbee Buttons.

Interesting bar

Was this review helpful? Yes/ No

This is the first 100g bar I've bought. It is definitely different from other bars and has an interesting color to it. It is unique and has good weight to it. I can see myself ordering a few more perhaps out of my tax refund.

Uniques Poured Silver

Was this review helpful? Yes/ No

I haven't seen these available for over a year. I was surprised when they went into inventory. So I grabbed a few. The price was reasonable, especially when you compare their cost if you can even find one in eBay. It has a nice fine sanded down beige appearance that you don't usually find in poured silver. Yet it is very smooth and they are great pieces unlike any other poured silver I have. The coloring is not even the same as Silvetowne's poured silver, which is more beige.I don't see selling them will be a challenge at all.

  • Pros
  • Attractive Design
  • Collectible (lower mintage)
  • Easy to Sell
  • Mint Condition
  • Recognized Brand
  • Bottom Line
  • Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.
