The 2015 gold sovereign is absolutely beautiful. I love the detailed artwork, as well as its long history. I also have the 2013 gold sovereign, which is just as amazing. One feature of the coin that I really enjoy is its beautiful reddish-brown color. You can't go wrong with this timeless treasure.

I wanted a British Sovereign because of its historical significance and because of the attractiveness of the classic St. George design. The coin is exactly as depicted on the website, so I was quite pleased with it. The coin itself is small (about the size of an American nickel) so the coin's detail is best appreciated using a magnifying glass. In this respect, the dragon's features were not as striking as I had hoped. Nonetheless, it's still a great coin!

My first Sovereign is a beauty! I understand that this is the last year with this effigy of Queen Elizabeth, so this coin could possibly gain in popularity in the future. Adding gold to my stack with this coin was an easy decision.
