I like collecting copper coins of all weights. This one being the coin I keep in my pocket. It ages well. When new, it is shiny copper. Not an investment, just for me, it is a fun coin to have. Pretty bulky too, which is cool. I think too big for kids, 1/4 ounce or 1/10 ounce size are best for my kids to carry. The 1/2 ounce even seems big. I was skeptical about buying any of these copper coins, and while not all designs are minted well, dome of them are, this being one of them. The negative is, nobody is going to buy it off you really. But if you like coins these copper coins are fun to collect. I built up a collection of 17 so far. I keep in airtites except this one in my pocket. They stay shiny that way. Fun for coin collectors.
