Such a nice piece to keep on the desk and admire from time to time. As stated by others, this will be the first one people admire even though it's a fraction of the cost! Bought as a collectable not for copper weight. Fits nice in the recommended 5oz capsule to keep it fingerprint free.

This 5 oz round is a beautiful collectible piece.This nickel was around when i was a kid.I bought this round for my wife for X-MAS and she loves it.A great way to get someone interested in collecting with out breaking the bank.

Going to have some fun. I bought a different 5oz copper for each of my kids to be tooth fairy coins. I sure hope her poor little wings are up to carrying these.

I have an NGC-slabbed buffalo nickel and it's one of my favorite coins so I bought this copper round to have the design in a form that I can handle without worrying about damage. It's so inexpensive that I didn't bother putting it in a capsule. It's just a nice hefty hunk of copper that I can play with while I'm on the phone, and it's already starting to acquire a lovely red patina from the oils in my skin. It makes a great paperweight on my desk, too!

This is the 3rd 5oz copper round I've purchased from APMEX. All 3 have been of high quality and are beautiful. I encapsulate them and leave them out for friends to see when visiting and they are simply amazed at the beauty and never knew one could buy copper this way.
