I recieved the item in perfect condition and placed it in a capsule. I had planned to tone the coin like a couple of 1oz rounds I had previously done, but the details and perfect beauty and size of this one made me decide to keep it just as it was minted and store it for the value and amazement when others hold it and admire the craftsmanship and weight . Good service. Excellent shipping. The coin has very satisfying heft. A caveat: Do the math and look at precious metals instead of copper if you want a store of value or investment. That said, this uses a classic design. It's an attractive decoration/paperweight for my desk.

Going to have some fun. I bought a different 5oz copper for each of my kids to be tooth fairy coins. I sure hope her poor little wings are up to carrying these.

I have a 1942 walking liberty half-dollar that's absolutely gorgeous so I bought this copper round to have the design in a form that I can handle without worrying about damage. It's so inexpensive that I didn't bother putting it in a capsule. It's just a nice satisfying hunk of copper that I can play with while I'm on the phone, and it's already starting to acquire a lovely red patina from the oils in my skin. It makes a great paperweight on my desk, too!

I bought 4 of these (plus the Y63 capsules) to give as gifts. The Walking Liberty front as well as the American Eagle back are both beautiful. There is either one or two millimeters of freespace in the capsule but when the top is fitted there is no movement of the round inside of the capsule at all. My order was process prompting and the USPS delivery was on time. I was impressed with how well boxed my order was.

Excellent. Very pleased that APMEX has included copper within their inventory. Like the 5 OZ size. Copper is the new metal on the block. Buy now, while extremely affordable. Bought one each of the 5 OZ Rounds & they are wonderful. Hope 5 pound & 10 pound bars are offered down the road. Even higher weights & variety's.
