The Gold Sovereign is without any doubt the best Gold Bullion coin in the World to purchase. Its been around since 1817 and known throughout the world. I have bought several from Apmex, they have quality products and are all genuine. The Certified Gold Sovereigns certified by NGC or PCGS or even more secure, the barcodes can be checked on line for authenticity, they carry more value and on top of the Gold investment you also get the advantage of numismatic price increases by collectors.

I received a coin dated 1914, the same year of the start of WWI. This is another of those European gold coins that I find interesting from an historical and bullion viewpoint. My received coin has minimal bag marks, but some hairlines. I grade the coin MS-61-62. This coin featured George V on the obverse and the St. George slaying the dragon on the obverse. Interesting and collectable.
