Incredibly underpriced for the collector's value, utility, and sheer beauty...
This product is perfect for a pure gold lover, someone who likesto wear gold necklaces or bracelets, for example. Alterntatively, I placed one on my Desk, as an armillary to remind me what we are doing here on this earth. While I am unsure how many of these were actually minted, it's been 7 years since it stopped... But if apmex got more of these, I'd buy them all... Perfect for the utility of combibar/fractional ... Suits easily 2-3 purposes... Way under valued !

Although I usually stick to lower premium bullion, I had to get one of these armillary coins since they just looked so cool online. Much to my delight, it works just as advertised, and you can rotate the concentric rings to your liking when showing it off. This is one of those rare opportunities to purchase fine art without a real risk of losing most of your investment.

This coin is rather unique. Its disc is very thin but large in diameter making it look bigger than a krugerrand or maple leaf when it is in its case. The case is nice and comes with an assay card. The ability to convert the coin from being flat to an armillary sphere is a really nice addition and may be an additional selling point in the future. Of the gold coins I have bought, this one has been the most fun.

What a fascinating coin, yes it really does turn and looks like the picture. I'm not a PM collector outside the BU market, but this coin caught my eye, and I'm glad it did. This will be handed down within the family so no, I'm not adopting anyone!
