While simple, it still shows the beauty of Canada's leaf in a small compact coin. Which is a nice addition to add in some diversity into any collection. What I'd like to see the Royal Canadian Mint do in future mintage is place there gold coins into capsules like the Perth Mint does with there coins.

Great first experience with APMEX! Each maple leaf is individually sealed in a detachable clear envelope. I appreciate the fact that the maple leaf is pure gold. The packaging was very neat and discrete and the coins are beautiful. I like fractionals for the flexibility they offer.

These coins are beautiful. Awesome look with the ray-type grooves on both sides. I prefer the 1/10th ounce size for many reasons. I have purchased 3 or 4 different 1/10th ounce size gold coins. This is by far my favorite. Can't go wrong with this coin. The higher premium works both on the buy and the sell so not a problem for anyone concerned with the maximum amount of gold for your investment dollar.

I have little faith in banks and stocks anymore, so I've decided to replenish my stock of precious metals. I can't afford entire ounces at this time, so smaller sized gold and silver coins are at least a start. The coins were packaged EXTREMELY well (in plastic and then in layers of foam rubber inside a box!) and arrived VERY quickly. Will definitely order again.
