Not sure how to handle

Was this review helpful? Yes/ No

I hate to use poor condition as a con, because only one of 5 of my Prospector's had a problem, all others are beautiful... My concern is that the one with a problem has what appears to be sever tarnishing at the bottom of the coin, I say "appears", because it might not be tarnishing... It is red in color, scaring me to believe that a silver test fluid had spilt, and the red on this coin might indicate it is a counterfeit...as I am buying for silver value, I am not sure what to do, so I did buy some tarnish remover just to try and see if the problem washes away... It weighs properly, and the rare earth magnet test went as expected... I am going to do a specific gravity test next...

Excellent coin

Received one 1984 with the Eagle back. Although I didn't request it, this was exactly the coin I was hoping for! Born in 1984, and this year was the first eagle back, which I prefer to the E. Only problem, now I want to collect every year!

Happy overall

Was this review helpful? Yes/ No

I bought 2 of these coins when they were on sale. I like to have a variety of different silver. I am glad I got 2 and not 1. One was pristine, while the other one looks like it was pulled out of a major fire. For the most part I collect for the value of the silver, so I am satisfied overall. Just glad I ordered more than 1. Not looking for a swap out Apmex. It is fine.

Disappointing

Was this review helpful? Yes/ No

I would say none of the 12 are mint. All of them are 84&85 so no variety. At least 2 of these are really poor quality. I will need to taker a closer look at what I order through APMEX
