APMEX, Inc. now offers security safes to protect your Precious Metals and other investment valuables. This Biometric Security Safe* combines security and technology to provide a diverse level of security not often found in smaller personal safes. The keypad lock holds 4-8 characters, and the keys beep with each press. If the door has been opened for more than 60 seconds, the mechanism will beep every 10 seconds until shut.
The biometric function holds up to 25 fingerprints, which can be added or deleted safely and easily. Two keys are provided in case the biometric or keypad functions need to be bypassed. The biometric and keypad locks are battery-operated (batteries not included), so the keys are handy if the batteries die.
The door is secured by two 3/4" round bolts that lock into a reinforced door frame. The back of the safe has two pre-drilled holes ten inches apart for mounting the safe securely and hardware is included.

Return Policy on Safes and Vaults: We guarantee your satisfaction at APMEX. We provide all our customers with a refund, return and/or exchange policy on every Safe, Vault, or Lock Box we sell. This right is limited to seven (7) days from the date on which the customer receives their items. The refund, return and/or exchange policy only applies to customers who notify our Customer Service Department by telephone at (800) 375-9006 during normal business hours within seven (7) days from the date on which the customer receives their item and keeps the item in its original packaging. The Customer Service Department will give you instructions on how to return your items and, at that time, you will be given a Return Authorization Number. All Bitcoin refunds are issued through BitPay at the USD rate at the time the refund is processed. APMEX is not responsible for any change in the Bitcoin exchange rate at the time of refund. Refunds for returns are not processed until after the returned item(s) has been received and verified.
Shipping and handling charges are non-refundable. For returns, you must carefully package the product and you are responsible for the cost of return shipping and for the shipping of exchanges back to you. APMEX reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to reject any return that does not comply with these requirements.
We want our customers to be pleased with their purchases. If for any reason you have a problem, please feel free to call our offices and discuss it with us. We will always do our best to accommodate you. We may charge a 5% restocking fee on all credit card orders returned. APMEX reserves the right to charge a restocking fee of $50 or 10% of the total order price (whichever is greater) on all refunded orders. We may charge a $50 processing fee on all exchanges. If a refund is requested, we reserve the right to find an acceptable replacement or refund your money if an acceptable replacement is not available. Refunds, at our discretion, may be issued via APMEX store credit redeemable for future purchases in lieu of a cash refund.
