2024 1/4 oz American Gold Eagle BU
First sanctioned by Congress in 1986, the Gold American Eagle collection swiftly turned out to be one of the world's most favored bullion coins. The Gold Eagle marks the United States government's inaugural backing of gold coins specifically for investment.
Released in fractional amounts, the American Gold Eagle is attractive to investors considering smaller sizes. The 1/4 oz American Gold Eagle increases availability to people with a limited budget.
The artwork shows patriotic symbols, exemplifying the everlasting legacy of the United States. The obverse side displays Lady Liberty in a superb pose, illustrating motivation from Saint Gaudens' 1907 $20 Double Eagle. The reverse displays a wonderfully stated eagle portrait, designed by Jennie Norris. All American Gold Eagle coins have a composition of .9167 fine gold, strengthened with copper and silver to improve wear resistance and durability.
The United States Mint does not directly sell these bullion coins to the community; alternatively, the distribution is managed using permitted purchasers, such as APMEX.
