Given to Jane Seymour by Henry VIII to embody his third wife's legitimacy, the fierce Queen's Panther stands on the Moat Bridge at Hampton Court Palace as a heraldic supporter of Jane Seymour. The heraldic panther is depicted as a formidable creature with fiery breath, withstood only by the dragon. Differentiating from the Seymour Panther, the Queen's Panther holds the impaled Arms of Henry VIII that bears the Coat of Augmentation bestowed upon her.

This is a beautiful coin. GB has some of the most intriguing art work on there money. American money is rather dule and boring and tends to be somewhat repetitive.

Am happy with box and coin. I think Great Britain coins are cool as all get out. Have quiet a few. Now I get find the one's that go with what I have. Need to have an excuse to buy more. Right ??
