Product Details
The 2026-(W) American Silver Eagle MS-70 PCGS (First Day of Issue) combines flawless craftsmanship, early-release distinction, and verified West Point Mint location into one exceptional coin.

Struck by the United States Mint, this 1 troy oz .999 fine silver coin has earned a pristine MS-70 grade from PCGS, indicating zero visible flaws under magnification. Its First Day of Issue designation confirms it was among the first dispatched, while the “(W)” label highlights its prestigious West Point origin.

Coin Highlights:
  • Contains 1 oz of .999 fine silver.
  • Graded MS-70 by PCGS, indicating a flawless coin with no visible imperfections.
  • Obverse: Features Adolph A. Weinman’s iconic Walking Liberty design, showcasing Lady Liberty moving gracefully toward the sunrise, wrapped in the American flag and holding branches of laurel and oak, symbolizing peace and strength.
  • Reverse: Displays Emily Damstra’s eagle in flight design, introduced in 2021, where the eagle descends with an oak branch in its talons, symbolizing resilience and renewal.
  • Certified as a First Day of Issue (FDI) coin by PCGS, meaning it was purchased from the U.S. Mint within the first day of its release, enhancing its rarity and collectability.
  • Encapsulated by PCGS to protect the coin’s condition and MS-70 grade.
  • Though no bullion Silver Eagles bear mint marks, this coin was taken by PCGS from a sealed box that U.S. Mint production records can trace back to the West Point Mint.

American Silver Eagle Design

The obverse revives Adolph A.?Weinman’s iconic Walking Liberty—originally seen on half dollars from 1916 to 1947 and reintroduced for the Silver Eagle series in 1986. On the reverse, Emily Damstra’s 2021 redesign depicts an eagle in graceful descent holding an oak branch, symbolizing resilience and renewal—blending tradition with modern national imagery.
