Mark the 250th Anniversary of the United States with the U.S. Mint's Release of 2026 American Eagle Coins
The founding of the United States of America in 1776 remains one of the most inspiring moments in world history, a defining triumph of courage, conviction, and the pursuit of liberty. From the signing of the Declaration of Independence emerged a nation grounded in the belief that all people are created equal and entitled to freedom and self determination. That bold declaration sparked a revolution and gave rise to a republic whose ideals continue to guide and inspire generations more than two centuries later.
As 2026 approaches, the United States prepares to celebrate its 250th anniversary, its Semiquincentennial. This momentous occasion offers Americans a chance to reflect on the enduring principles of democracy, unity, and perseverance that shaped the nation’s founding. It is a time to honor the vision of those who built the framework of a free people and to celebrate how that vision has evolved over 250 years of progress, innovation, and shared purpose.
Many Americans look to enduring symbols of national pride, including the U.S. Mint’s American Silver and Gold Eagles. First introduced in 1986, these coins have become icons of American craftsmanship and integrity. Each features designs that represent the nation’s heritage, its ideals, and its steadfast commitment to freedom. The Silver and Gold Eagles continue to stand as trusted favorites among collectors and investors alike, embodying the strength and spirit of the United States.
To honor this extraordinary anniversary, APMEX is proud to offer exclusive 250th Anniversary TEP, Tamper Evident Packaging, editions for both Silver and Gold American Eagles. These special 250th TEPs commemorate the Semiquincentennial with distinctive presentation and secure preservation, helping each coin serve as a treasured keepsake of this historic milestone.
The 250th anniversary of the United States is more than a celebration of the past. It is a reflection of the resilience, hope, and freedom that define the American story. Through the beauty and enduring value of the American Eagles, paired with the commemorative APMEX 250th TEPs, collectors can hold a tangible piece of that story, honoring 250 years of independence, unity, and the unyielding spirit of America.
