Princess Grace of Monaco, originally Grace Kelly, was an American actress born on November 12, 1929, in Philadelphia. She gained fame in the 1950s for her roles in classic films such as "High Noon," "Rear Window" and "To Catch a Thief." Her acting career was cut short when she married Prince Rainier III of Monaco on April 19, 1956, becoming Princess Grace. She embraced her royal duties and was involved in philanthropic work, particularly in the arts and children's welfare. Tragically, her life ended prematurely when she died in a car accident on September 14, 1982, leaving behind a lasting legacy both in Hollywood and Monaco.
