Enacted December 15, 1791
"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances."
This round was made by Johnson Matthey in the early 1980s and is one of ten in the “Freedom Series”. This round depicts the 1st Amendment of the United States Constitution, "Freedom of the Press”.

I purchased this round as a present for my father as a birthday gift. Although I havn't given it to him yet so I don't know what his reaction will be to it I think it looks great. His job relates to the news industry so he's a big fan of that and i'm a big fan of precious metals so this round is a unique present that has interests of both of us in it!
