This was my first time ordering from APMEX. I heard good things, figured I would give them a try. I ordered 10 random dates pcgs certified ms69 American Eagles. I received them a week sooner than I expected., and they were excellent, as advertised. All 10 had the same date, but that's ok with me. It was a low mintage date from the 1980"s...
- Pros
- Value (low premium over spot)
- Attractive Design
- Collectible (lower mintage)
- Easy to Sell
- Mint Condition
- Recognized Brand
- Bottom Line
- Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.

Coin showed early signs of the entire reverse starting tone. The obverse has a couple of toning spots. Got this for a fair price. I have several Silver Eagles in MS 69 in PCGS slabs that were obtained at about $1 over BU prices. These are nice to tag orders that need something for free shipping.
- Pros
- Value (low premium over spot)
- Attractive Design
- Recognized Brand
- Cons
- Common (higher mintage)
- Bottom Line
- Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.

I’m beginning my American Eagle collection, and have ordered these random dates in hope of getting some surprise deals. My initial thought was I figured I would most likely get most recent dates, but was surprised when I got MS-69 dated 1988. It would have cost me more to buy it alone, date specific. Truly, this was a random date and good buy. Worked out for me, but proves APMEX is at least backing up this listing category.
- Pros
- Value (low premium over spot)
- Bottom Line
- Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.

Bargain coins are not always a bargain. With certified coins there is no question about their value. The certified coins' value can be viewed at the certifiers website. Great value is realized when I'm able to purchase at a discount to the certifiers' price. No cost shipping also adds value. APMEX has always provided these advantages. I am very happy with my APMEX coin purchase because all of the above was met.

- Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.

Ordered random eagles from APMEX. As a general buyer you might think that random mean you will get multiples of different years. I placed an order of 25 and got 25 2009 First Strike 69's. Other than that, I got these at a low premium.

- Mint Condition
- Value (low premium over spot)
- Attractive Design
- Recognized Brand
- Easy to Sell
