I really love the design of the Austria Philharmonic coins. They are of excellent quality. I typically purchase the one ounce Silver Philharmonic coins. I wanted to add some gold. The 1/25 oz was quite a bit smaller than what I expected. For me I think when I purchase again, I would go with the 1/10 oz for my "small fractional" gold coin.

I was drawn to the price-point of this product. It is beautifully detailed for it's size. It is tiny. Almost too small. It appears to be a specialty item for those requiring a discreet sized form of gold or for those trying to purchase gold on a budget. It is a beautiful coin. I haven't decided whether to purchase any more or to buy the small bars in assay, hence the four star rating. Nothing wrong with the product.

I bought 2 of the 2014 and one this year and I will try to add at least one each year from now on. They are affordable and could quite possibly go up in value.

I bought this little coin because I love the design and I have some silver philharmonics so I thought I would get a gold one. This is a very tiny coin BUT beautiful detail, I was surprised. The problem I had was the PRICE it's only 1.25 grams so I think the price needs to come down a little bit but that's just my opinion. But this is a very beautiful little coin! I like it, even though it's small the details are just amazing.
