2015 2 oz Silver Coin - Biblical Series (Pale Horse)

I've collected many unique Bible-based coins over the years, and I find this set very attractive and compelling. Love the high-relief, etched design based on Doré's art. I am currently collecting several sets, and look forward to the last in this 6-coin series. My only criticism is the quality and design of the original "fake-book" packaging. They don't measure up to the quality of the coin inside and some of my boxes were defective. The leather 6-coin book is better, but over-priced and still not of a quality the is reflective of the coins.

I don't know why anyone would buy these coins with the intent of re-sale/making money! their value is not in re-sale, it is in the art itself, in addition to the meaning behind and the depiction of "The Book". I have not recv'd #5 yet, but am looking forward to it, and all the rest. I too would like to have the same nbr, but they tell me that is impossible, so no problem. I am disappointed in the leather holder only having capacity for 6 coins when there are so many in the set. I also wish they were coming faster. as previously mentioned in someone else's comment, it means living/waiting for 9 more years! I'm almost 65, I pray I live long enough to collect them all.! but bravo to Scottsdale Mint!

I am enjoying this Series very much. I like all 5 of the coins issued so far, and I am waiting for the final coin to be issued.

i've purchased all 5 of the biblical series released so far. very low mintage. great looking coins with precise details. comes packaged really nice. i'm going to try to get all 60 coins. i just have to live another 9 years. should be a great collection to own.

The following remarks are needed after reading some disparaging remarks about Dore and the Mint's Series by some unfortunately too materialistic Nay-Sayers about the Biblical Coin Series: Anyone with any art or biblical history knowledge regarding the work of Dore cannot dispute the plethora of subjects and events that can be drawn upon to support a 60 coin Biblical Series of limited edition coins that will enhance ones spirituality, art appreciation, and certainly increase in value as the full collection of remarkable works are continued in The Biblical Series--other works of Dore's works would prove investment worthy from an artistic or numismatic and spiritual perspective. It is unfortunate though that the proposed 60 coin series is drawn out over 10 years. Speaking only for myself, I wish the production releases were faster and more of Dore's works promoted. My premise underlies the value of holding proven historical acts, tradition, fact and mysticism in ones hands--a real privilege from a historic and numismatic perspective--and Dore's gift in revealing the divine. I say, "foo foo" to skeptic nay-Sayers concerned with 'turning a profit' instead of the intrinsic value--Isn't there something fundamentally stated in the Bible about spirituality versus materialism: 'where you treasure is, so shall you heart be also.' The minted coins are material and of monetary value, however, these are also spiritual gifts. If you do not believe and share--don't collect and inhibit ones who may need a physical token reminder of God's great deeds and love for all creation and humanity. Where does your heart reside--in the spiritual or capitalistic virtue of greed, lust and profit disregarding the divine? Only one other beside you know your true self.

This completes out 5 coin set. Thanks for the prompt shipment. We will be looking at their next set of coins.
